Exmoor Getaway - Dunster Beach Hut for Rent |
This site was a pleasure to work on - the owners of this gorgeous 1940s Beach Hut on Dunster Beach wanted an atmospheric one page site to capture the essence of the place and make it appeal to people looking for romantic short breaks and getways on Exmoor. We had to find a way to present the photographs in an original and appealing way, whilst making sure that the unique and diverse appeal of the chalet was communicated properly.

Tiny Hands Tiny Feet - Nappy Cakes by Chris Grabham |
Nappy Cakes are the latest innovative gift idea for newborn babies and mums to be - a beautifully crafted 'cake' made from fresh rolled up disposable nappies, baby clothes, soft toys and quaint little socks arranged to look like flowers. This is a small e-commerce site to test the water for a new business which has been rapidly taking over Chris Grabham's dining room. These cakes make excellent gifts as they are both pretty to look at and packed with useful, practical things. They are quite hard to describe so have a look at this site to find out more!

Island 41 - Communication and Presentation Skills |
Island 41 is the corporate persona of Piero Vitelli, a freelance presenter, trainer
and consultant with over fifteen years experience. Piero provides organisations, groups and individuals with particular solutions to communication, presentation and interaction needs through innovative and involving experiences.
This site was one of our first projects with new designer, Colin, on board - it utilises strong visuals for maximum impact whilst also making the information easy to navigate.

Northover and Gilbert - Removals and Storage |
Northover and Gilbert provide removals and storage for people moving in and out of the Axminster, Bridport, Dorchester, Yeovil and surrounding areas. This is the first website for the company, who have just changed hands but continue to provide the same traditional and friendly service. The website includes details of all their services and an online contents form, created with a piece of software called picaquote, which customers can use to easily calculate the volume of their furniture in order to get a quote for removals.

Purple Cortina - Wedding Car Hire |
Purple Cortina Wedding Car is a new website offering a unique service for people who want to be chauffeur-driven in something a bit different on their wedding day. They offer a ride in a kitsch, classic, retro and chic purple mark three ford cortina, with leopard skin interior. The journey includes complimentary champagne and retro nibbles plus lots of extras to create a magical experience on your big day.

Naomi Cudmore Communications |
As a communications consultant it was imperative that Naomi worked closely with the Lush Designs team to get her own business message across effectively. She used a hands-on approach to the site - choosing the colours the fonts and imagery she developed the look/feel for the site, ready to for us to take over the design and development, with constant communication throughout.

Ben Horrobin - Artist Blacksmith |
Ben Horrobin is a third generation blacksmith, based in West Somerset. He wanted a gallery web site to display his interior and exterior work and provide information and contact details for prospective customers. Connecting Somerset provided a grant towards half of the cost of the site.

Sarah Nicol - Textile Designer and Maker |
Sarah Nicol is a wonderfully talented textile designer and maker, based near Bath in North Somerset. Sarah was able to obtain an IT@Work Voucher from Business West towards the cost of this site. The site uses simple software which enables Sarah to add and remove products in her online shop as soon as they are made or sold.

Sureshot Table Football |
Sureshot Table Football is a new business in the Taunton area which specialises in putting table football tables into schools, colleges and other establishments. They also run frequent competitions and events and needed to be able to edit the site themselves. Sureshot were lucky to receive a grant from Connecting Somerset which enabled them to go ahead with the site.

Faith Stone Photography |
Faith recently moved to West Somerset from Boulder, Colorado. She needed to re-establish her business in the UK and obtained a grant from Connecting Somerset for this sophisticated dynamic site. It uses a content management system to allow Faith to make her own updates and upload photographs of events and proofs of wedding albums which can be bought online.

Hand Made Beauty - Wearable Pieces of Art by Diva Zappa |
Diva needed a new site for her hand-crafted crochet and knitwear designs which would also highlight her recent involvement with the Creative Visions Foundation. Diva aims to raise awareness of the Watoto Fund by "knitting kindness throughout the world, one purl at a time".
This site is an ongoing project - Diva needed the site put online quickly, to coincide with her appearance as 'celebrity knitter' at New York Fashion week - over the coming months Lush Designs will be expanding the site and perfecting the design to meet Diva's needs.

GEAS - Garage Equipment Advisory Services |
GEAS sell specialist diagnostic and calibration equipment and services for garages and other local businesses. They wanted to be able to update and maintain their own site as new products are often being added to their range and they have monthly special offers. They also wanted to be able to sell some of their products online, using Paypal. GEAS were awarded a grant from Connecting Somerset towards the cost of implementing this design and Lush Designs provided full training, documentation and support for the new system.

Linda Hogarth - Psychotherapist and Counsellor |
Linda was dissatisfied with her existing website. It wasn't ranking highly in the search engines and didn't display the kind of information she thought her clients needed to see.
Lush Designs created a welcoming site, which included pictures of her beautiful location and treatment room.

Wornfree - T-Shirts as Worn by Rock Stars |
Worn Free is an L.A. based T-shirt company which sells vintage-style iconic t-shirts. This unusual site has recently been updated to include a specially written shopping cart and a fully integrated content management system. This site is regularly featured in the press and the t-shirts are often worn by modern celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston and Keith Urban.

Reines House - Porlock Bed and Breakfast |
After extensive renovations, Reines House B&B which is situated on the edge of Exmoor, in Porlock, West Somerset, opened for business last summer. This simple website captures the essence of the place, with lots of photographs and information about the B&B and it's surrounding location. The site has already attracted many customers both from Britain and overseas.
